In 2018, the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit completed a study of the geography, demography, religiosity, membership patterns, Jewish education levels, social service needs, Israel connections, anti-Semitic experiences, and philanthropic behavior of Jews in Detroit. The researcher for that study will present the major results, compare those results with studies completed in Detroit in 1989 and 2005, and with other Jewish communities around the country. The data reveal a community which is at once strong, but also with significant challenges.
